Daddy and I had the chance to slip away for a few hours for his 43rd birthday - we went to the lounge at WP-24 at the Ritz Carlton and then to a Laker's game. Super good food. The Laker's game was also a blast - and it would have been even better if they would have won (instead of Gasol getting a concussion).
We also went to a movie the next day . . . the unauthorized story of our lives - This Is 40.
Happy birthday Bob.
I love you.
Welcome to The O'Leary-Hauser Blog!
Written with love, honesty, and humor to let you have a peek into our lives as the boys grow and have many exciting years of fun, adventure, love, and happiness (with hopefully minimal mishaps).

Papa
Papa and two of his grandsons. Just three men hanging out.
Garrett as a mini papa wearing the bluetooth earpiece for his phone.

MOCA Madness
We took a family trip to MOCA - another rainy day adventure. OK - it was sunny and then started raining.
I didn't get a photo of it, but I am pretty sure Garrett's favorite part was easily the lift that we took from the street level to the upper floor because we had Brady's stroller. He even got to operate it. Fun.
Brady's favorite part was the last photo - playing with a $200 elephant in the MOCA shop. Good thing he didn't break it.

Art Wall
We started out the New Year by swapping out Garrett's art wall in his room.
Lots of great new pieces.
Of course - mommy's favorite is the one that says Garrett is thankful for his mom. Mommy's a sucker for stuff like that.

Space Shuttle on Densmore
Can't beat fun for a $20 Discovery Kids toy . . .
We had lots of fun until we had to out it in the garage for awhile because G and B kept picking it up and trying to throw it at each other . . .

I'm So LA
OK - I think Brady realizes he's only in his kitchen and not walking down Rodeo Dr., but you still have to look cool at all times . . .
Happy New Year!!!!!
Unfortunately we were all a bit under the weather - in one stage or another of recovery - so we spent the night having a fun and relaxing dinner with grammy, papa, and Uncle Ed.
We made it festive - a yummy dinner and horns, party hats and all.
We also managed to get in some good hugging time . . .
And played in the bathtub . . .
Where else can you play with a phone and grammy's makeup brushes in the tub AND get to wear a pajama top and a snowsuit - come on??!!
Welcome 2013!!!! (Although we were all asleep when midnight actually rolled around). Sad, but true.

California Science Center
We hit the CA Science Center to see the Endeavor in all its glory after its harrowing trip through the mean streets of LA.
Very cool seeing it on display - and the mock control center really peaked Brady's interest.
Garrett also got some hands on time - "flying" and pulling two different blocks to learn about friction.
We were getting a little weary, but went to the Cleopatra exhibit too before we skedaddled . . .
