A Walk on the Wild Side
Even Los Angeles has pockets of outdoor fun as long as you look hard enough - we spent some time at Franklin Canyon Park - we went to the Nature Center (where there is a really creepy stuffed mountain lion) and then hiked around the lake and Heavenly Pond - we saw ducks, turtles, and two BIG bullfrogs.
