A Family Outing to the La Brea Tar Pits/Page Museum

Educational and fun - great combo.  Believe it or not, I had never been to the La Brea Tar Pits or Page Museum, so off we went on a family adventure.

Garrett is OBSESSED with paleontologists, so he was happy to see the real thing working on cleaning some new pieces for placement in the exhibitions - but even they were overshadowed by the display of the saber tooth cat on the sloth - we stayed there forever - and Garrett asked a million questions.  He thankfully ended up being more fascinated than scared, but I still think part of him still thinks that it was real.

I think Brady had even more fun at The Counter - we had lunch after the Museum before piling back into the car for nap time.  Brady just like to be out and about.  He is a social butterfly.
