Autry Museum - Cowboy Day

OK maybe not the best idea to go when a museum that is probably not too crowded most of the time when it has TONS of kids running around in cowboy and cowgirl costumes (and lots of adults too - most without children in tow - I guess they are big old West fans).

But - there were lots of cool learning stations with all things cowboy to touch - spurs, leather cuffs, cowbells, canteens, buffalo hide, hats, and on and on.  They also had a fun kid's learning area where they had a display on learning about your family history and everything about the history of a family from China - hence the mask in the one photo below.

The funniest thing ever though was a display where you sit your child on a saddle and it puts them in an old West movie - Garrett was ducking back and forth and riding with the other cowboys.  Hilarious.

Brady was hooked to mommy in the Ergo - but as always - had a great time staring and pointing at everything and he had his running monologue the entire time.  We'll find out soon enough what he has to say.
